So I've had a Dreamwidth account for a while but never fully migrated to the platform until now. I'm not gonna say why I created the account in the first place because it's a little nsfw. It may or may not have had something to do with a kinkmeme 🙈 It's been so long though that I don't even remember the fandom anymore!

I'm hoping this migration will help me accomplish two things. The first is to journal a little more.

I've been exploring art (both traditional and digital) and while I am very much a beginner and still have LOADS of learning to do, I've been looking for a place to post my studies and practices and rantings and ravings where people from work won't see them. All of my other social media has so many work colleagues and friends on it that I feel a little constricted in what I can or cannot say. This goes for more than art though, I wanted to place to just rant in general without work people hearing me.

I'm probably overthinking it but I feel a little embarrassed to admit to work colleagues just how deep my love for all things, for example, Rafa Nadal, K-Pop and Harry Potter goes. So hopefully here I can post fandom related thoughts and maybe some RL thoughts that I don't want to share on other social media platforms.

Secondly I fully count iconning as an artistic endeavour but, like with my other digital and traditional art, consistency is something I've been struggling with. Work/life balance over the past few years has played a big part in that but hopefully a new platform means a new start! I haven't created my icon community yet but I will get around to it soon. I'm not sure if I want to keep my old name or not!

So that's it from me. Here's to hopefully a better relationship with consistency going forward!
